Well, I’m bored and going crazy
at the lack of robot fun
Nelly’s stuck in Britain
and she ain’t the only one
I wonder if Kenny and Chris Rose
are still alive
I’d love to hear Faruq shout,
‘It’s robot fighting time!’
WIth nowhere to fight bots
I thought my mind would fall apart
But then I glimpsed at Rusty
and be still my beating heart!
It’s like steampunk had a love child
with a Minion and a tank
And it’s got a bonking drill
to give the other bots a spank!
Oh, it’s Rusty!
Oh yes, it’s Rusty!
Its paint job might make you think it’s crusty
But its drill is very mighty
and we can’t wait until it’s fighting
Because we love it here in Blighty
Oh it’s Rusty!
It’s Rusty
We do love Rusty
And I’ll hurt you
if you speak of it unjustly
This bot has my heart beating
Its aesthetic is most pleasing
And Britain will be screaming,
‘C’mon Rusty!’

Dave is a member of the rare Three Continents Club in combat robotics, competing in the UK with Robot Wars S9 champion Carbide, in China with This is Fighting Robots champion Tungsten and in the U.S. on BattleBots, with the scary vertical spinner Cobalt. Dave has been building combat robots since 2002 and is a regular fixture on the UK live circuit.

As a high schooler, Jason built his first bot which he took to compete at BattleBots during the Comedy Central days. Since then, Jason has been building nonstop - everything from combat robots to ingenuitive curiosities. You may recognize him from his appearances on Shark Tank where he once sought funding for his rad invention, the Kymera Body Board. Jason is full of stories and hard learned wisdom that he's gathered throughout these many experiences.
Surprisingly, his new bot, Tracer, was built in near-complete secrecy from the rest of the community. Listen as he takes us through his inspiration for the bot, his expectations for next season, and the grudge matches he's looking forward to most!
